Natural Radiance: Cucumber Collagen Mask Review & Giveaway - CLOSED

The lovely people at Natural Radiance kindly sent me some facemasks to try out last week. I was particularly excited because they specialise in Korean sheet masks and I’d never tried any before.

I received a Purederm cucumber collagen mask(*) with vitamin E, which “visibly moisturises the skin and restores skin tone after UV exposure”. Unfortunately I haven’t been in the sun, but working long days at a festival last week has taken its toll on my skin.

First impressions:
The packet says the liquid saturating the mask is 100% pulp. I was worried when I opened the mask as it seemed to be too liquid-y but it’s very thick and didn’t drip. I was hoping it would smell really fresh like cucumbers but there didn’t seem to be much scent to it at all.

The actual mask felt like baby wipe kind of material and was surprisingly thicker than I’d expected. It looked huge when I took it out of the packaging but I guess my face is bigger than I realised, as it seemed to fit with just a bit of overlap on the hairline.

I left it on for about 10 minutes more than the suggested 15minutes, until the edges started to dry. When I peeled it off my face felt a little sticky, but this disappeared within a few minutes once the residue was dry.

Probably the most unflattering mask I've ever tried! haha

Results:
Whilst I didn’t notice any visible difference in my skin, it feels a lot smoother and rehydrated. The boy even commented on how soft my face was. It was lovely and cooling, so definitely perfect for a quick fix once it gets a bit warmer, or generally if you’ve got dull, dry skin.

The only downside is that they make you look like a bit of a numpty. Excuse my miserable face in the pictures, it was a little awkward to smile!

Would I purchase?
Definitely. At just $0.88 each these are a complete steal! Unfortunately Natural Radiance doesn’t ship outside the UK just yet, but when they do I’ll definitely be buying!

Definitely check out the website, it’s sheet mask heaven!

I was also sent extra masks for a little giveaway so to be in with a chance of winning one of these lovely masks then to enter you must:

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait Review and Swatches

Before I start I just want to say sorry about the pictures. Fed up of using my iPhone and having to spring-clean my pictures every week so I used my camera. But the lighting in the living room wasn’t great so they’re all a tad out of focus, and you can’t see the true colour! Boo! :(

I finally buckled under the pressure and bought myself some Revlon Lip Butters. The blogosphere has been going crazy over these over the last couple of months, and I just didn’t understand why. But now I’ve got one, I really do …

Now I actually bought three – a girl can’t say no to 3for2! – but I’m planning on doing a mini giveaway soon with these as a prize.

The colour I kept for myself was 025 Peach Parfait, a very deep, golden peach colour – as seen on Emma Stone in the promo pictures.

I really wanted pink truffle, but the Boots I was in was completely sold out.

The product glides on very sheer, but can be built up to a medium coverage. I wasn’t expecting this as I thought that they’d just give your lips a bit of a tint and not full on coverage. I found the Peach Parfait looked a bit pink, due to the slight pink hue my lips have.

What Revlon say:
- Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%

- Pampering gel formula provides super charged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth

- Sheer to medium colour with buttery shine

- Available in 20 luscious shades

What I say:
I really love it. It feels just like a lip balm and keeps my lips really hydrated and smooth. It also stayed on for a lot longer than I expected. Perfect for my handbag collection as lipsticks can be very drying – but this was obviously the complete opposite. A complete steal at £7.99 – especially when they’re on 3for2!

Would I purchase again? Definitely, 100%. BUT I just wish that we’d have access to the full 20 colours that were released in the US and Canada, and not just 14.
